IBS and Digestive Health

Compassionate, evidence based support for people whose digestive symptoms are affecting their relationship with food and quality of life.

Digestive symptoms can quickly become exhausting, emotionally draining and all consuming.
You may find yourself constantly worrying about bloating, urgency, stomach pain or how food will affect you. Over time, eating can start to feel stressful rather than enjoyable.

For many people, digestive difficulties do not only affect the gut. They also affect confidence, social situations, trust around food and overall quality of life.

Evidence

Our work is grounded in evidence based nutrition and current clinical guidelines, whilst recognising that digestive symptoms are often influenced by far more than food alone.

We aim to provide realistic, sustainable support rather than rigid food rules or overwhelming protocols.

Individualised

Every person’s experience of digestive symptoms is different.

Support is tailored to your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle and relationship with food, helping you move towards feeling more comfortable, flexible and supported around eating and digestion.

Digestive symptoms can affect far more than your gut…

Digestive symptoms can have a huge impact on daily life, confidence, relationships and social situations.

Many people find themselves avoiding meals out, worrying constantly about symptoms, or feeling increasingly anxious around food and eating.

My approach is holistic, non judgemental and tailored to the individual.

Whilst nutrition can absolutely play an important role in managing IBS and digestive symptoms, I also recognise the wider impact that ongoing food stress, anxiety and restriction can have on both the body and the nervous system.

Rather than focusing on rigid food rules, my aim is to help you better understand your symptoms whilst supporting a calmer, more sustainable relationship with food over time.

The gut–brain connection

Stress and digestive symptoms are often closely connected through the gut–brain axis, and for some people, supporting the nervous system can be an important part of improving symptoms alongside nutrition support.

Alongside dietetic training, our approach may also incorporate mindfulness based and nervous system regulating approaches where appropriate, recognising the wider impact stress and anxiety can have on digestion and eating experiences.

A Calmer Approach to Digestive Support

Many people arrive feeling anxious around food, unsure what they should be eating, or exhausted from trying to manage digestive symptoms by themselves.

Our approach is compassionate, practical and tailored to you, helping you feel more confident, supported and less overwhelmed around food over time.

If IBS, digestive symptoms or anxiety around eating are affecting your quality of life, you are very welcome to book a discovery call to explore whether support may feel helpful for you.
