ABOUT GINA GIEBNER
Gina is a Registered Dietitian with over 20 years of experience in the UK and overseas. She holds a masters degree in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition as well as a post-graduate diploma in Dietetics.
Conditions such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Inflammatory Bowel Disease and food allergies and intolerances have always been a part of her dietetic practice – Gina’s evidence based, highly individualized and sensitive approach to these conditions has helped many clients.
She has extensive experience with all aspects of cancer nutritional care, including advanced expertise on neuro-endocrine neoplasms (NENs), nutritional recovery after surgery (such as bariatric procedures or operations on the gut and stomach) and conditions affecting the pancreas or liver.
Alongside her freelance work Gina also supports an NHS pelvic radiotherapy late effects team in her capacity as a Macmillan expert in this area of medicine.
Gina’s extensive experience, both in hospital and in the community, enables her to support her client’s nutritional needs and rehabilitation goals at any stage of their journey. This also includes their recovery after Covid or long Covid.
Gina enjoys travel, and learning about foods from around the world. In her practice she always strives to make her advice practical and achievable for the individual. She can also use her personal training qualification to support a wider range of lifestyle goals.
