JL Nutrition Clinic provides evidence-based dietetic therapy to support your recovery from disordered eating

Do thoughts of food & your body take up too much space in your mind? Do  you feel that you don’t know how to nourish yourself?

You might overthink what you’ve eaten, feel guilty after meals, constantly plan how to “make up” for food, avoid social situations involving eating & feel scared of losing control around food.

As specialist eating disorder dietitians, we work with you to help you improve your quality of life and your relationship with food & your body.

With or without a formal diagnosis, food stress can have a huge impact on your life.  You deserve support that is compassionate, realistic & non-judgemental.

At JL Nutrition Clinic, we support women trapped in cycles of food restriction, anxiety, guilt or obsessive thoughts around eating.  We are Registered Dietitians with years of experience working with people with difficult relationships to food & their body & we take a very balanced approach to nutrition.

We provide holistic, evidence-based dietetic therapy to help you achieve sustainable behaviour change.  We work collaboratively and at your pace, helping you move towards a calmer, more flexible way of eating & living.

Eating disorder dietitian, Jen, with a client

Hi I’m Jen,

I’m a registered dietitian with nearly two decades of experience supporting people with eating disorders, restrictive eating and difficult relationships with food.

Over the years, I’ve worked with hundreds of people who felt exhausted by constant thoughts about food, weight, exercise or body image, many of whom worried they were either “too much” or “not unwell enough” to deserve help.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative and grounded in evidence based care.

Alongside nutrition support, I’m passionate about helping people understand the wider emotional and nervous system factors that can keep food anxiety and rigid eating patterns stuck.

Recovery is rarely about “just eating differently”.

It’s about rebuilding safety, flexibility and trust over time.
